A Teenage Crush - By me (Back in my school days)

I wrote the following poem after my 12th grade...
Still an amateur then, i lacked some luster in my writing. This one is all about the mixed emotions that come into play in a teenage lover boy's mind.

(A Teenage Crush)
******
Why does she cry out?
others would just swear..
Problem lies where it binds
me in a vicarious snare

Rejigged my heart, just to make me rile
on one meek look at her ricotta smile.
Rickety Rickety did i rhyme
just to spend with her a little while

Yeah! why should i rhyme?
write poems on my mind?
she's the one who makes me
go haywire and i mime.

All for a prank joker
my life's a bad poker.
Twas she who seems effervescent
and her cute dimple dent.

Got me, she has, point blank
dotty me, I've gone mad.
Catchy girlie to my eyes
bless her and say Aye! Aye!

Jinxed me din'cha beauty soul
with jitters on my brittle bow.
Kill me if i ever wont
be worthy of your cosset love.
******

Well, i ll be adding more and better poems soon! Till then,
keep waiting!

Nothing new in that... Keep it'ing!
Well, before u lift that knife to stab me, lemme just start off!

Today's post is related to some of the most amazing poems in the world that come from my stable!!!
hee hee! Hell ya!
Me kinda a small time poet myself...
I have this inborn liking for rhyming words since my twinkle twinkle little stars!
My first ever good looking poem goes like this :-

(Untitled)
******
As ethos as the sky
Zealous to my life
Incessant mystic living opal
Yearning a meteor a
Attar with its best
Cayenne to Celsius
Sedulous to cavort
is what she is all about.

Revel lady, blotch in my Heart
Sweet cygnet, cynosure
intend will you to fill my cart
with your mastery Sepia-shore.

I am a stupid kismet mule
With you, im a kilo joule
Pivotal, fair friend in life
lady piper, spare my like.
******

Well comments are entertained...
(Please do keep in mind that i wrote this around 2-3 years ago.. Amateur writing.. Hail! )

Things We Say (And Its Real Meaning)

1.I'll call you
If I ever see you around, maybe I'll say hi

2.It's my treat
I'll be paying, ok ,but I'll be expecting you to offer to split the bill. And if you insist, well, it's your treat then...

3.It´s my fault
If you hadn't done that I wouldn't have made a mistake in the first place

4.The party starts at 12, but everybody will arrive at 1
If you come before 1, you´ll have to help me to arrange everything and I won´t pay you attention
5.I know what I´m saying
I´ve heard that on a TV program or someone told me about it, I don´t remember accurately...

6.The deadline is Tuesday at noon? Got it!
If I work all Wednesday night, I´ll probably finish it

7.I´ve been working really hard lately
I´m taking just 1 coffee/cigarette break an hour

8.You think I´m wrong?
You are stupid! Hahahaha

Sambhar of '69 - By Akshay sir

Had my first real six rupees,
Stole it from my mother's purse.
Went to a Madrasi hotel,
To eat the Sambhar of '69.

Me and some kadke dost,
Had it all and we got a bad tummy,
Josemon puked, Jabbar got ulcers,
and Bagga ne maari dakar.

Oh when I went back there now,
the food was as stale as ever,
and though it was 1999,
still the sambhar was being served over there,

That was the worst Day of my life.
(CHORUS)

Therez no use in complaining,
when you got no other place to eat,
rushed in the evening to the doctors clinic,
but he too was at the toilet seat, yeah

Standing there waiting outside,
The nurse told me to will wait forever,
Oh!! and when I held my breath,
I knew that I had to use that loo there

That was the worst Day of my life.
(CHORUS)
Back to the sambhar of 69.

Man I was getting killed,
I was full and restless,
I needed to unwind,
I guess nothing can wait forever - FOREVER... NO!

And now the times are changin'
Look at everything that's come and gone
Somethimes when I see pizzaz and burgers
I think about ya wonder what went wrong

Standing there waiting outside,
The nurse told me to will wait forever,
Oh!! and when I held my breath,
I knew that I had to use that loo there

That was the worst Day of my life.

Premier League Odds and Sods 25 Feb 08

Arsenal 2- Birmingham 2 Eduardo’s injury - a horrific broken leg - stole the headlines. But, it did not decisively affect the outcome. Luck controlled much of it. Birmingham capitalized upon one free kick - a questionable call - and one penalty - a blatantly wrong call. Fabregas had two goal-worthy efforts, one stopped by Taylor and the other by the post.

Adebayor’s performance was as shocking as his short hair. He fluffed an open breakaway. He also failed to square a ball to testy teammate Nicklas Bendtner. Both would likely have clinched victory for Arsenal.

Walcott’s effort encourages, however. His talent is elite without question, but his confidence and decision-making ability has been sub-par. However, he put in a fine effort for a brace, his first two goals in the Premier League. He adeptly slotted in the first goal, and his second, a few minutes later, was magnificent.

The draw drops Arsenal to three points above Manchester United. The Gunners will hope their bad weak was a blip, not a sign of weakness.

Newcastle 1 - Manchester United 5 In case anyone was unaware, Rooney and Ronaldo are pretty good. It was an exhaustingly easy effort from the Red Devils. Newcastle played in a cloud, with neither coherence nor discipline in tactics. The back four could not fall apart, because it never came together initially. Even the one Titus Bramble’s part-time competence would have been preferred.

Newcastle’s question is not how long before Keegan gets canned, but how long before he suffers a nervous breakdown and quits. They reside only six points clear of relegation, with eleven matches remaining.

Liverpool 3 - Middlesbrough 2 Individual brilliance once again saved Liverpool, as Torres took control with a marvelous hat-trick. Carragher’s cards cost the team at the back, but exonerates none for the poor performance. Southgate’s side showed themselves excellently. With some luck and a consistent striker, that club could be challenging for a European place.

At the end of the day all i hav to say is dat...
suli,
U hav Post!

I play basketball, But i watch football.

I play basketball, I watch football.

So as i watch Football..
lemme start off with it!!! My favorite football club is Manchester United. A club i admire for its richness in talent (and lots of money too). It is the richest football club in the World.

Now on to other Stuff
As i need to know,
Why Should Countries Pay Clubs For Players On International Duty!!!
(Countries Could Go Bankrupt Or Competitions Could Disappear!)

Meddling FIFA president Sepp Blatter is intent on leaving a lasting legacy to the wonderful world of football regardless of the effect it will have on the game. This time he has paved the way for the richest clubs in football to get richer still, through payments for their player who are on international duty.

The threat of legal action from the G14 clubs which include Manchester United, Liverpool & Arsenal, appears to have forced the hand of the top man in Football. The clubs were seeking compensation for players injured on international duty, however Blatter has given them a letter if intent which has satisfied them, causing them to withdraw their legal action and disband the group. UEFA will be happy to see the group gone as they had threatened to set up a break away European league.

Why Should Clubs Be Compensated? Players Made Famous From International Competitions Make Them Millions!
(Who Will Compensate The Countries If The Stars Are Unavailable For Tournaments?)

Currently the International tournaments take place during the holiday/close season, with the exception of the African Cup of Nations, which could and should be rescheduled to suit considering the majority of players are playing their game in Europe. So what exactly are the clubs being compensated for? Being denied the ability to take that player on a tour of Asia or America? Surely the player is representing their club in some of the most watched competitions on the planet, if those players play well or win medals their value is raised, meaning the club can charge more for sponsors and branding. Just look at the new partnership between Manchester United and Kumho Tyres, where the Koreans will have paid a fortune to Manchester United so they can use effective sales tools like Wayne Rooney’s name in radio advertising. Their value is also raised on the transfer market, some clubs have been funded and built on the cash from selling a player who did well at a world cup. Damian Duff was sold to Chelsea for a fortune after his displays for the Republic of Ireland in 2002, Bayern Munich made a huge profit on Owen Hargreaves after he shone in the World Cup in 2006, is that not compensation enough for these teams?

Has a player ever had their career ended by an injury caused purely in an international tournament? Granted there have been a few long term injuries where clubs have had to pay huge wages during the recovery period, but who negotiated the contract with the players? Who agreed to pay them full pay during their sickness? More importantly if an international star is injured playing for their club and cannot play for their country will the clubs compensate the countries? If Cristiano Ronaldo is injured for the Euro 2008, could Portugal sue Manchester United for inhibiting their chances of winning the competition, reducing their potential revenues from sponsors? If so Wales could have a case against Manchester United as Ryan Giggs nearly always seemed to have a niggle when it came to international time.
